Join us for an interactive conversation with Fabrice Mauries, the Ambassador of France in Haiti. Dr. Eduardo Gamarra, Professor of Politics & International Relations, will moderate the event.

Ambassador Mauries has been serving in his current position since September 2021. He previously served in a variety of high-ranking diplomatic posts, including Second Counselor in Beijing; Deputy Director of Southeast Asia, the Far East (Asia and Oceania Directorate), the Minister's Office of Foreign Affairs, and the Americas and Caribbean Directorate; and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Lima.

A graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, he is a former student of the National School of Administration. He began his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Directorate of United Nations and International Organizations before being assigned as First Secretary to the French Permanent Mission to the UN.
