Want to know what your students are thinking throughout the semester? Collecting student feedback in your courses can provide useful insights into your teaching practices and be a source of data for teaching evaluation. Feedback Box, a safe and anonymous tool for collecting student feedback within Canvas, can be a great way to get started on this.

Come join us for this introductory workshop and learn more about leveraging Feedback Box to get actionable feedback from your students. We will discuss what Feedback Box is, how it works, and why it matters. We will also explore some strategies on how best to use the tool and how to increase the amount of student feedback you receive in your course(s).

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
