Is There a Roadmap for Regional Energy Cooperation and Energy Transition for the Southern Caribbean Energy Matrix?

This is a past event.

Thursday, March 30 at 10:00am to 11:30am

Virtual Event

Guyana, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago make up the broader Southern Caribbean energy matrix. The current energy landscape of the Southern Caribbean is complex, but the geology is right. A structural decline in the oil and gas industry can threaten traditional resource development models. Is it possible to achieve regional cooperation in energy and food security and complete the transition from dependence on fossil fuels? The panel will discuss a roadmap for regional energy cooperation and the transition to alternative energies for the Southern Caribbean matrix.

This webinar is part of the LACC/CPC Caribbean Policy Series. Co-sponsored by the Caribbean Policy Consortium.
