 ram in the 2026–2027 iWitness Lunch Break Series\, presented by the FIU 
 Public Humanities Lab.\n\nJoin documentary photographer and filmmaker Woos
 ler Delisfort for a conversation about his exhibition\, SANCTUARY: Our Sac
 red Place\, currently on display at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. Thr
 ough photography and storytelling\, Delisfort explores the spiritual origi
 ns of Miami’s Indigenous\, African\, and Caribbean communities and exami
 nes how these communities create sacred spaces that serve as sources of id
 entity\, resilience\, and belonging.\n\nThe conversation will feature resp
 onses from Michelle Grant-Murray (Miami Dade College\, Olujimi Dance Colle
 ctive\, Florida Black Dance Artists Organization) and Dr. Albert Wuaku (FI
 U Department of Religious Studies). The program will also include a specia
 l performance by Michelle Grant-Murray and colleagues\, with music by DJ M

 fort is a documentary photographer and filmmaker based in Little Haiti\, M
 iami. His work explores spirituality\, culture\, and community through vis
 ual storytelling. Delisfort's projects document the humanity\, creativity\
 , and resilience of communities in South Florida\, the Caribbean\, and Wes
 t Africa\, challenging stereotypes and highlighting the role of spiritual 
 and cultural traditions in everyday life.\n\nAbout iWitness\n\nThe Global 
 Borderless Caribbean is at the heart of iWitness\, a dynamic community ini
 tiative developed in collaboration with FIU's Public Humanities Lab. Throu
 gh visual storytelling\, civic dialogue\, and public engagement\, iWitness
  examines issues affecting communities across Latin America\, the Caribbea
 n\, and their global diasporas.
