This session will explore the theme “The Soul of Freedom.”
We are thrilled to welcome two distinguished guests for a thought-provoking discussion:
- David Lawrence Jr., former publisher of the Miami Herald and founder of The Children’s Movement of Florida
- Dr. Mike Heithaus, Executive Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education at FIU, Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, and Vice Provost for BBC and Environmental Sustainability
We will also be joined by the powerful movement of Michelle Grant Murray. This event will provide an opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate and embrace hope.
We hope to see you on January 17, 2025, at the Lee Caplin School of Journalism + Media at FIU’s Biscayne Bay Campus in the Atrium of AC II.
