Join us on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, to
celebrate Japan Immersion Day. The event will
be held in FIU's Green Library (GL) Room 100
and the classrooms located on the second floor
of GC. It will feature various cultural activities
and fun games to encourage students to learn
more about Japan.
A non-refundable fee of $15 includes Japanese
lunch, supplies, and handouts.

Japanese Instructor or contact Professor Naoko
Komura at komuran@fiu.edu.
Deadline for registration is November 18, 2022.

The workshops this year will include:
- Calligraphy
- Chopstick decoration & Hachimaki making
- Tea Ceremony
- Sumie (Japanese brush painting)
- Bracelet making & Origami
- Kimono try-on
-Traditional Japanese toys & games
- Video games
Workshops are subject to change.
