The political winds of change in the United States have caused symbolic and substantive transformations in foreign policy. They have renewed tensions across the Americas. In the Hemisphere, not only have there been course alterations in trade, but also in relation to counternarcotics and power projection, with significant intrusion into the domestic politics
of some countries.

This webinar will examine some of the dynamics involved, with a view to understanding some of the geopolitical, geo-narcotics, and sovereignty implications involved, especially in the Caribbean and northern South America.
