Anchored in the ideas of renowned journalist, author and Columbia University professor Ed Morales, “Whats in a Name?” seeks to understand the possibilities and politics of “Latinx” through the overlapping vectors of language, race/ethnicity, gender, national origin, sexuality, age, ability and more.

Morales will be followed by four short comentarios, each one taking a different perspective on the possibilities of “Latinx.”

Amalia Pallares (UIC) - “Ok Latino Boomer: Latinx and Generational Resistance”
