About Miren Oca & Ocaquatics Swim School:

Miren Oca is the founder and CEO of Ocaquatics Swim School, a certified B Corporation.Β Ocaquatics was founded in 1994 and is a 100% employee owned, community involved business that provides positive, fun swimming classes in 5 warm water, beautiful facilities around Miami, Florida.Β Β Ocaquatics employs 165 team members and teaches approximately 6500 swimming lessons per week during the high season. A sixth indoor swim school location is in the planning stages.Β

Ocaquatics’ has two critical missions:

  • Connect with families to teach swimmers to love swimming and become safer, more comfortable and more responsible in, on, and around the water.
  • Connect with team members and help them grow within a framework of social and environmental responsibility. This allows them to scale the swim school in a sustainable way, and make a bigger impact in the world.
