Please join us for a preview of “Lives Eliminated Dreams Illuminated” (LEDI) and a special presentation/conversation with Holocaust survivor David Schaecter. on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 7pm.  LEDI Founder Dr. David M. Milch will present David Schaecter. with a painting of his family depicted in one of the poignant painting + music pairings in the exhibition. LEDI, an immersive multi-media exhibition of paintings, by Lauren Bergman, coupled with photographs and original music, composed by Ella Milch-Sheriff, opens at JMOF-FIU March 17, 2024. This unique experience reimagines the lives of young women and girls whose lives were senselessly killed during the Holocaust.

The program is part of FIU's 9th annual Holocaust and Genocide Awareness Week, Jan. 25-Feb. 1, 2024, presented by Hillel at FIU, the Holocaust & Genocide Studies Program, and the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU.
