Los Edificios: Cuban-Influenced Architecture in Florida by Sylvia Gurinsky
About this Event
From the 1700s onward, Cubans looked towards the Florida peninsula as a place for opportunity and refuge. Buildings in such cities as Key West, Tampa, Miami and Coral Gables have reflected that. Join Sylvia Gurinsky for a look at Florida buildings that were either influenced by Cuban architecture or have adapted to become symbols of the Cuban community.
RSVP required. If this is your first time attending an Osher Lifelong Learning Institute virtual lecture, mention CasaCuba during registration and attend for free!
