Please join FIU's Center for Women's and Gender Studies for a virtual seminar titled "Mapping Gender Parity in the United States and Türkiye" on Tuesday,  February 7^{th, from}  11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Scholars and political organizers from the United States and Türkiye will discuss women's organizing and activism, democracy, and the political backlash against gender equity. The event is co-sponsored by KA.DER ( a "women's organization that advocates for the equal representation of women and men in all fields") and FIU's Miami-Florida Jean Monnet European Center of Excellence.
