Join the Department of Medical Education at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine for our upcoming Grand Rounds session, "Crafting Your Educator Portfolio: A Roadmap for Clinical and Academic Faculty."

This session will guide participants in creating a strong educator portfolio by highlighting its value, essential components, and the importance of a clear teaching philosophy. Attendees will also learn strategies to effectively showcase the quantity, quality, and impact of their educational contributions.

Featured Speaker: 

Rose Maria van Zuilen, PhD, AGSF, is a professor of professional practice in the Department of Medical Education at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She serves as director of faculty development, associate director of the Academy of Medical Education Scholars, and director of the geriatrics and palliative medicine curriculum for medical students.

For more than 25 years, Dr. van Zuilen has been a leader in medical education and faculty development. She has contributed to several major geriatric curricular initiatives at the local, state and national levels. Most recently, she co-developed a Veterans Affairs geriatrics workforce enhancement program for psychiatric providers.
