The Association for Computing Machinery is excited to announce we're hosting MiamiHacks, Florida's newest hackathon, happening virtually on October 2nd - 4th! Registration is now open! While we would love to see you all on campus this Fall, we have made the decision to go virtual this year for the safety of our attendees, mentors, sponsors and organizers. Regardless of the virtual venue, our goal is to ensure attendees have the ultimate hackathon experience!

During this amazing weekend, we look forward to hosting a diverse group of 1000 #developers#designers, and #changemakers from around the globe to spend 36 hours of nonstop creating, learning, networking and fun! Registrations are NOW OPEN at MiamiHacks.com

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
