Mind Mapping Your Career

This is a past event.

Wednesday, March 8 at 2:30pm to 3:30pm

Virtual Event

Mindmaps open your mind to new connections and possibilities. They can be a great way to brainstorm and generate new ideas.

This activity will help you think through the value of what you have studied and experienced during your time in college. Use this mind map to develop a more robust understanding and analysis of what you have been studying and how it connects to your career goals.

This workshop is based on Vanderbilt's Dr. Kate Brooks & Grace J. Foy's "Picture Your Career" guidebook (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/)

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
