Dr. Alla Mirzoyan is the Director of the Office of Fellowships and Training at the University Graduate School. The goal of the office is to increase the number of FIU students successfully applying and receiving external grants. In her previous roles, Dr. Mirzoyan oversaw training and international collaborative grant programs funded by the NSF, the US Department of Education, and the US Department of State.

The session will provide information on graduate fellowships and grants; how to search and apply for funding opportunities; and how to maximize chances of getting funded.
