Functional Chalcogenide Nanomaterials for Renewable Energy Applications

Dr. Daniela Radu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Florida International University. She recently transitioned to FIU from Delaware State University. Dr. Radu conducts research focused on advanced functional nanomaterials with applications in renewable energy and optoelectronics. Her background covers a broad range of disciplines, and she is combining materials science with chemistry and nanotechnology to synthesize novel materials with properties that enable their application in renewable energy, food security and nanotechnology safety.
