TITLE:  Data Scientist                                                                                                                                     

DUTIES: Providing statistical analysis, data mining, and displaying the value of analytics through the use of analytical tools, such as Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), for the HWCOM Department of HHS academic, clinical, and research initiatives.     

REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Public Health, Data Science, or Business Administration and six (6) years of appropriate experience or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Public Health, Data Science, or Business Administration and four (4) years of appropriate experience. Of the required experience listed above, at least 4 years must have involved working in healthcare including working with electronic health records. At least 1-year must have involved working with business intelligence (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Business Object); SQL; and performing statistical analysis with STATA, SAS, or SPSS.

                                                                 

SALARY: $ 85,000 / year

 

HOURS: M – F, 40hrs/wk., 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
