Panther Chow is an organization that redistributes food around campus to students who identify as being food insecure. Students with meal memberships can donate up to 5 meals. To donate, students will need to fill out the form attached and submit it to the Meal Plan Office at the Graham Center to Keylonda James (sits at the window) who will be receiving these requests. You can also submit the form to whoever is at the register. Meals will be subtracted from their meal membership and moved to a Panther Dining Gift Card, which will then be handed to the Panther Chow team. The hours they can do this is from 9 am - 5 pm.

The form can also be found in the meal plan office. Note: Students with meal plans that have "unlimited" access to 8th Street Campus Kitchen are not permitted to participate in this donation.

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
