Back by popular demand, ORED’s Office of Postdoctoral Scholar Services will repeat its five-part series focused on preparing postdoctoral scholars to apply for tenure-track faculty positions. The first two sessions will focus on general information, such as the standard process and conventional application elements, such as cover letters, CV’s, start-up requests, and interviews. The final three events will focus more in-depth on three critical components of most faculty job applications: 1) research statements, 2) philosophy of teaching statements, and 3) diversity statements.
