Please join President Bill Clinton and the world’s bestselling author James Patterson as they discuss their novel, The President is Missing, with our own Les Standiford, bestselling author of many novels and works of nonfiction, including Last Train to Paradise and The Man Who Invented Christmas, the subject of a recent film adaptation. As the founding director of the Creative Writing Program at FIU, Standiford will be able to engage with the authors in a candid conversation about their unique collaboration and research, as well as the timely and alarming issues their novel raises about our world today. Each full-priced ticket will include a copy of The President is Missing that includes a keepsake book plate with the authors' signatures.
