Join us for a talk on "Programmable DNA nanotechnology for material and biomedical research" with Dr. Yonggang Ke, Assistant Professor, Biomedical Engineering Department, Emory University and Georgia Institute of Technology.
This seminar will introduce structural DNA nanotechnology and will discuss Dr. Ke’s lab’s recent progress in making massive/complex DNA nanostructures and dynamic DNA devices. His lab invented a modular assembly strategy for constructing complex 3D shapes by using short synthetic DNA oligos — “DNA bricks”. He will discuss how this method is used to construct a fully addressable, three-dimensional GDa nanostructures with rationally designed shapes.
