Special guest: John Alvarez, MSHRM

John is an HR People Partner for WarnerMedia LLC, a multinational mass media and entertainment company. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Miami Dade College’s School of Global Business, where he teaches several bachelor’s level HR courses. John is a proud graduate of FIU’s MSHRM program (Cohort 31).

Special guest: Ashlei Brown, MSHRM

After 12 years in the public safety sector, Ashlei decided to move to a more corporate setting. She graduated from the MSHRM Miramar pilot program in the summer of 2019 and got certified as SHRM-CP in February 2020. In June 2020, Cummins Inc. made a competitive offer, and she accepted a role as an HR Analyst and relocated to Nashville, TN.
