Laboratory notebooks are essential for proper laboratory function and passing of information from one generation of laboratory personnel to the next. In this workshop, we will go over the different aspects of switching from the centuries old style of keeping a physical, handwritten laboratory notebook to a modern, easy to use, digital notebook. We will show you how to implement Microsoft OneNote for laboratory use and go over both tips and tricks and dos and don'ts when using a digital lab notebook.
