Following the 2023 theme for Black History Month, Black Resistance, we want to bring light to the underrepresentation of people of color in the STEM fields.

Join OSJI for a discussion and brainstorming session where we aim to:

  • Connect STEM professors, grad/undergrad students, researchers, and professionals
  • Imagine in an ideation session how we can make STEM more inclusive, starting with FIU

This discussion will be one part guided conversation with statistics and information, one part Q & A, and one part networking.
