The FIU Symphony Orchestra (FIUSO), FIU University Singers, and special guests conclude the season with a benefit scholarship benefit concert featuring an epic performance of Mozart’s masterpiece and Paul Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphoses. The orchestra will also be joined by the Greater Miami Youth Symphony for a side-by-side performance of Rossini’s Overture to The Barber of Seville.

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
