About Social Venture Studio  🚀🧠💡

To maximize students’ potential to adopt and master an entrepreneurial mindset, we will have experiential classes:

- Mondays from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

 - Thursday from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Both sessions cover the same material, so you can pick whichever time and date work best with your schedule.

Who is Social Venture Studio for?  🙋🏾‍♀🙋🏾‍♂🙋🏽‍♀🙋🏽‍♂🙋🏻‍♀🙋🏻‍♂🙋🏼‍♀🙋🏼‍♂️

This program is an entry-level studio for students who are interested in learning about mission-driven entrepreneurship (a.k.a. social entrepreneurship). Social Venture Studio is ideal for students looking to get out of their comfort zone, challenge themselves, and sharpen their thinking. Applicants are considered based on their interest in solving social, environmental, and economic problems; prior entrepreneurial experience is not a requirement.

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
