As part of Student Innovation Week, StartUP FIU is hosting Student Spotlights. Join us and a panel of FIU graduate and undergraduate students on Zoom as we discuss what it is like to be an entrepreneur/innovator while balancing a college workload.

For our “ Unconventional Student Paths” edition of Student Spotlight, three students will be sharing their journey on what it’s like to create new paths for themselves as student innovators and young professionals in their field.

About Student Spotlight:

Student Spotlight is a mini-series part of Student Innovation Week hosted by StartUP FIU. Through a series of Pecha Kucha* talks, students from our community get to share their experiences as entrepreneurs and innovators in their field! From social entrepreneurship to the unconventional student path, we will hear from our very own FIU panthers as well as students from our neighboring Miami-based universities.

*Pecha Kucha is a storytelling format where a presenter shows 20 slides for 20 seconds of commentary each.

Who is this event for?

We invite students from all majors, from Business to Computer Engineering or from Biology to the Arts. Students who wish to learn more about different paths and explore how the entrepreneurial mindsets of others have helped pave innovative ways to success.
