The Commencement Ceremonies will take place at the Riccardo Silva Stadium on our beautiful MMC campus over the span of three nights.

The ceremonies are mixed and not college-specific. Ceremonies 1 and 2 are for undergraduate students only. Undergraduate students were able to select between Ceremony 1 and 2 based on availability upon registering. Ceremony 3 is for Doctoral and Masters candidates only. 

The registration link was sent to eligible students on June 29th to their FIU email. Registration for the ceremonies is now CLOSED. Registration was open from June 30th - July 11th, 11:59 pm

Summer 2021 graduates that were unable to register for the Summer 2021 ceremonies are welcome to walk in the Fall 2021 ceremonies. Please email askcommencement@fiu.edu in late October so we can add you to the ceremonies.

In order to have registered and obtained your guest tickets, you needed to enter a promo code. The promo code was as follows: FIUSUM21- YOUR PANTHER ID. (For example: FIUSUM21-1234567)

Please make sure you registered under your legal, FIU student name.

All tickets should have been purchased in one transaction as the promo code expired after your purchase.

Each student will receive 3 complimentary tickets and will have the option to purchase an additional 5 tickets for $7 each. This is a total of 8 guests per graduate and we will not be able to provide any more tickets beyond this. You will receive your guest passes via email after your transaction and this will serve as confirmation your transaction was successful and you are registered for that ceremony. The graduates' Commencement Pass will be picked up at the Commencement Fair. We are unable to email or mail the Commencement Pass to the graduate.

No swapping or switching of ceremonies will be allowed. Transactions are final.

GUEST TICKET UPDATE: For those students that did not purchase all their 8 tickets in the registration timeframe, there will be a limited amount of guest tickets for sale at the ceremonies at ticket booth B. This will be first-come, first-served, and CASH ONLY. 

SAFETY UPDATE: Graduation is here, and we want to celebrate safely with you and your families!  As we prepare to celebrate three commencement ceremonies this week, we ask that you and your guests only attend if you are healthy. If anyone in your party is feeling symptoms of COVID-19- cough, fever, sore throat, headache, trouble breathing- please stay home, isolate, and get tested. If anyone has tested positive for COVID-19 less than 10 days before your ceremony, please make sure that person does not attend commencement. While the ceremonies will be outdoors, there will be no physical distancing in the stands. Therefore, we encourage you and your guests to wear face coverings.
