Junfang Wu, B.M., Ph.D., earned a Bachelor of Medicine and a master's degree in pharmacology from Jiangxi Medical College in China. She received a doctorate in neuropharmacology from Nanjing Medical University and completed postdoctoral training at the Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College in Beijing.
Wu also completed postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. A member of the Shock, Trauma, and Anesthesiology Research (STAR) Center since 2010, she currently serves as associate director of the University of Maryland Medicine Institute for Neuroscience Discovery (UM-MIND).
