No darkroom? No problem. Getting into photography doesn't have to be as intimidating as it seems. Join us as Miami photographer, Enrique Rosell, leads a workshop on how to shoot and develop analog film from home, while engaging in conversation on street photography.

We'll learn about camera basics, take a photo walk on campus, and understand how to develop film in both black and white and color.

Although it is not necessary, feel encouraged to bring your own analog camera.

This workshop will take place in-person following COVID-19 guidelines. For more information, contact eafre@fiu.edu.

Participants will receive a coupon from Palm Film Lab for 20% off photo development and scanning. PLUS 50% off for up to 36 prints (6 x 4 inches).

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
