The Where, How, and Why of GIS Data: Finding and Preparing Datasets for Analysis

In this 2-part online workshop series you will learn techniques for finding and downloading GIS datasets, as well as techniques for preparing them for analysis. No prior experience with GIS is required but is recommended. 

About the presenter:

Dr. Diana Ter-Ghazaryan is a Research Associate at the FIU GIS Center, and has been teaching and researching with GIS for over 15 years. Her interests lie at the intersection of geospatial technology, geography and digital/spatial humanities.
