TTR: Death Penalty Defense: The Role of Mitigation in State & Federal Cases 

  • Presenter: Susy Johnson, Attorney/Mitigation Specialist & Samantha Lopez, Mitigation Specialist

  • Description: This session will share experiences in capital defense, emphasizing the importance of mitigation in death penalty cases. Presenters will discuss their work as mitigators in both state and federal cases, and her advocacy for prisoners' rights.
