New platforms, constant content, and artificial intelligence are all changing how leaders build trust and stay visible. This panel brings together two experienced leaders in journalism and communications to talk about how they navigate that saturation while staying authentic to their own voice and work. The discussion will be moderated by Carla Zensen, Senior Program Coordinator at the Kopenhaver Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication. Panelists are Julie Haynes, Ph.D., Professor of Communication and Director of the Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication at Rowan University, and Marian Liu, Audience & Product Lead at The Florida Trib. Both have led high-visibility initiatives, from institutional partnerships to statewide journalism collaboratives, and will share how that experience has shaped their approach to leadership and personal branding.
