TTR: Sustainable Livelihoods: The Bandhwari Women’s Project 

  • Presenter: David Wernick, Ph.D., Teaching Professor, College of Business at FIU 

  • Description: This session will provide an overview on the the Bandhwari Women's Project, a student-led grassroots project that aims to provide income and empowerment for a group of under-resourced women in an urban village near New Delhi, India. Current student leaders of FIU's International Business Honor Society (IBHS) will discuss how the project has evolved over time, its key accomplishments, current challenges, and future goals.
