n\nTTR: Tangled Triggers of the Global Cancer Landscape: The Molecular Fall
out of Environmental Mixture Exposures\n\nPresenter: Alok Deoraj\, PhD\, Te
aching Professor\, Environmental Health Sciences\, FIUSDG Topic Category: S
 DG3: Good Health and Well-BeingNews Article: go.fiu.edu/TTR1007Description:
This session examines the rising global cancer burden through the lens of
 environmental mixture exposures—chemical pollutants\, dietary toxins\, life
 style stressors\, and climate-related impacts—disproportionately affecting
vulnerable populations. Presenters will explore emerging evidence from mole
 cular toxicology\, omics technologies\, AI-driven exposome modeling\, and p
opulation studies to uncover how these complex exposures drive cancer at ce
llular\, molecular\, and epigenetic levels. By shifting from correlation to
causation\, the session calls for a coordinated global response to reduce
cancer risks shaped by environmental degradation\, social inequities\, and
 climate instability.Location: GC 150 | Time: 12:30PM-1:30PM
