Join us next Wednesday at 12:30pm in RDB 2008 for the next Headlines & Headnotes event "Understanding Putin's War Against Ukraine" featuring Prof. Loyola and Professor Kramer of the FIU Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs. The conflict in Ukraine has the potential to become the most destructive conflict that Europe has seen since the end of the second World War. Professors David Kramer and Mario Loyola explore the possible ramifications for the region and for the United States and its allies and partners around the world.

This event is sponsored by the FIU College of Law and FIU Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs. Lunch will be provided.

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
