 y Colloquium (IFC) series with a featured presentation “Violence\, Publi
 c Security\, and Challenges of the Third Lula Administration in Brazil” 
 by LACC Director Dr. Anthony Pereira. Dr. Jose Miguel Cruz\, LACC Director
  of Research\, will join us as a discussant for the event.\n\nThe Interdis
 ciplinary Faculty Colloquium series aims to provide a space where FIU facu
 lty and advanced graduate students have the opportunity to present their r
 esearch\, exchange ideas with researchers in different disciplines\, and n
 urture new projects. It is\, primarily\, a resource to promote FIU’s aca
 demic dialogue and research on Latin America and the Caribbean.\n\nTo RSVP
