 Woman\, Other. This prize-winning novel follows the lives of 12 women of c
 olor\, mostly relatives from a single family\, over history and with fasci
 nating connections across time and space. As their lives intertwine in num
 erous ways\, Evaristo makes her novel a thought experiment for discussing 
 feminism\, politics\, success\, sexuality\, race\, and relationships. This
