Virtual Exchange and Gallery Exhibition for Camillus House and Pridelines COVID-19 PhotoVoice Projects
This is a past event.
Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 4:00pm to 5:00pmVirtual Event
This virtual event celebrates the work of two groups of artist-participants who created photo galleries of their experiences and analysis of the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, we will showcase photos taken by members of the Camillus House “heArt Room,” an art therapy program for people experiencing homelessness, and members of a Pridelines’ Spanish speaking support group for people living with HIV/AIDS. Together, their photos visually unveil how vulnerable groups of people have experienced health-safety protocols and other consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will include discussions and a question/answer session with the artist-participants.
