Videogame & Tech Lending Showcase @ the Library

Come play retro-style arcade games while you learn about all the tech the library has to offer at this interactive device showcase. From 360 cameras and VR headsets to vinyl record players and projectors, there's something for all to discover. Best of all: It's all free to borrow from the library!

Head over to the GC Pit for an ice cream social! Enjoy frozen treats, grab some free school supplies, and learn how you can get involved with FIU's vibrant campus life by visiting the Panther Connect online hub.

HRE's Silent Disco

Incoming Panther residents are invited to join FIU Housing & Residential Experience for a silent disco.

NPHC 101
6-8 p.m. | Parkview Hall Multipurpose Room
NPHC 101 aims to inform students about the National Pan-Hellenic Council's collective impact on campus and the broader community. Students will learn about each organization's mission, values and commitment to leadership, scholarship and community service.

Statement of Free Expression

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses. In addition to supporting this legal right, we view this as an integral part of our ability to deliver a high-quality academic experience for our students, engage in meaningful and productive research, and provide valuable public service. This includes fostering civil and open dialogue in support of critical thinking in and out of the classroom, including events hosted by the university.
