Opening talks by FIU's Dr. Zahra Hazari on the status of women in physics, and Dept. of Psychology Ph.D. Candidate Elsa Bravo on the status of women in STEM at FIU. A panel discussion with Dr. Allena Opper, Program Director for Experimental Nuclear Physics at the NSF; former FIU graduate student Ramona Valenzuela-Perez, now at Intel; and former FIU undergraduate Kathryn Fernandez, now a Ph.D. student at George Mason University.
