In Women of Immokalee, Lisette Morales showcases remarkable women from Immokalee, FL, whose impacts among their communities have created change. The exhibit honors the women of Immokalee, who are known and celebrated by their community members, but whose realities are often not recognized outside of the small rural community. Exploring the complexities of a woman leading change, Lisette's collection offers us an intimate peek into her beloved community.
I truly loved the exhibit. I was moved and motivated by these women stories. Amazing pictures, so colorful and full of life. Congratulations for this valuable testimony and thank you for giving us the chance to learn more about the Immokalee community.
