This is an informational workshop about how to write successful, quality argumentative and analytical papers assigned in history survey courses, as well as the humanities and social sciences more broadly, for FIU undergraduates. The workshop discusses writing effective thesis statements, using and interpreting evidence, quotations, citations, and strategies for non-fiction writing. Presented by Dr. René Silva and Dr. Ross Nedervelt from the Department of History's Writing-in-History postdoctoral and tutoring programs.
