Iryna Kanishcheva is a multidisciplinary artist, street photographer, award-winning curator, and the driving force behind numerous influential art initiatives in the USA and her native Ukraine. As the founder of Monochronicle, a groundbreaking public art network and marketplace, she bridges the gap between artists, administrators, and businesses, fostering collaboration and innovation in the art world. Iryna’s pioneering work has earned her multiple prestigious recognitions for transforming urban landscapes and advancing civic engagement through thought-provoking art projects. She has curated internationally acclaimed murals and festivals, redefining public art as a tool for storytelling, inclusivity, and community building. Venturing into the digital frontier, Iryna has collaborated with Charles Alan Rye, an innovative lighting designer, to explore interactive video walls—artworks that transform dynamically based on viewer interaction. She has also partnered with Astitva Chopra in groundbreaking research on “AI for Art,” delving into how artificial intelligence can augment artistic creation and revolutionize art evaluation processes. Iryna’s approach combines a deep respect for tradition with a bold embrace of technological advancement, believing that when thoughtfully applied, AI can empower artists and evaluators to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation. Her work continues to challenge conventions, inspire dialogue, and redefine the role of art in modern society.
