The Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center at Florida International University in partnership with the American Organization of Teachers of Portuguese (AOTP) are pleased to announce the XIII EMEP - World Meeting on Teaching Portuguese that will take place at Duke University, Durham, NC on the 9th and 10th of August 2024. 

The title of this year’s Conference is "Intertextualities and Interconnectivities in the Teaching/Learning of Portuguese (PLE, PLA, PLM, PLH and others)." Every year, EMEP brings together teachers of Portuguese for native and non-native speakers from all over the world for a collaborative and cooperative dialogue and learning experience about innovation, projects, materials and new strategies for the teaching and learning of Portuguese.
