Welcome to the 3rd New Music Miami Festival (NMMF) concert of the year featuring guest composer, Ken Ueno, and a performance by the FIU NODUS Ensemble. 

The festival concerts are free to the public and available on the New Music Miami ISCM Festival here. The live stream link will appear just prior to the concert.

 

About FIU NODUS Ensemble
Initiated by FIU faculty composer in residence Orlando Jacinto García, NODUS is the professional contemporary chamber music ensemble in residence at Florida International University in Miami (FIU). Specializing in the cutting edge Art music of our time, the makeup of the ensemble varies for each concert depending on the works being presented. The ensemble’s repertoire includes recent music by composers from around the world, works written specifically for the ensemble, and works with electronics and/or video. More by clicking here.

The Festival is presented with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners, the City of Miami Beach, and the Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center at FIU. The Betsy Hotel is the official host hotel for the festival.
