Seven-time GRAMMY® Award–nominated violinist and composer Curtis Stewart is featured in this electrifying closing concert with the FIU NODUS Ensemble at The Betsy South Beach Hotel Gallery, highlighting his bold and innovative compositional voice.

Stewart—acclaimed for redefining what contemporary music can be—writes with a fearless blend of classical tradition, improvisation, and genre-bending creativity. His works explore identity, emotional depth, and the boundaries between musical worlds, earning him recognition as one of the most compelling composers of his generation.

The FIU NODUS Ensemble brings Stewart’s music to life in a program that is adventurous, expressive, and forward-looking. This finale promises striking soundscapes, gripping artistic insight, and a rare opportunity to experience the work of a transformative composer whose influence is rapidly reshaping today’s musical landscape.

The festival is presented by the FIU Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts, with support from the City of Miami Beach, the Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center at Florida International University, FIU Miami Beach Urban Studios, and The Betsy South Beach Hotel and The Betsy Writers Room. The Avalon Hotel Miami Beach on Ocean Drive is the official host hotel for the festival.

FIU endorses the Florida Board of Governors' Statement of Free Expression to support and encourage full and open discourse and the robust exchange of ideas and perspectives on our campuses.
