Join us for our closing festival concert, an unforgettable evening featuring Miami's professional quartet and FIU Artist-in-Residence Ensemble, the Amernet String Quartet, alongside Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Raven Chacon.

This performance marks a historic moment as Raven Chacon, the first Native American Pulitzer Prize winner, showcases his creative genius through the acclaimed artistry of the Amernet. Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience the groundbreaking work of a Pulitzer Prize laureate brought to life by these exceptional musicians.

 

About NMMF

We are celebrating 27 years of avant-garde compositions and performances in the heart of Miami! Our festival features exceptional works of trailblazing composers and boundary-pushing performers from all around the globe, many of whom are present to discuss their music for FIU students and audiences.

Performances will take place at The Wolfsonian – FIU on Wednesdays. Each evening begins with a captivating pre-concert discussion at 7PM, where audiences gain unique insights into these musical masterpieces.
