DESCRIPTION

The music of FIU alumni composers takes center stage as their works are performed by the members of the NODUS Ensemble at The Wolfsonian-FIU on Miami Beach. We are pleased to welcome the following alumni: Juraj Kojs, Daniel Estrada, Emmanuel Berrido, Pablo Chin, and Jeff Herriot

Founded by FIU Distinguished Professor, Orlando Jacinto García, NODUS is the professional contemporary chamber music ensemble in residence at Florida International University. The ensemble's dynamic composition changes with each performance, meticulously curated to showcase the diverse and innovative works on the program.

About NMMF

We are celebrating 27 years of avant-garde compositions and performances in the heart of Miami! Our festival features exceptional works of trailblazing composers and boundary-pushing performers from all around the globe, many of whom are present to discuss their music for FIU students and audiences.

Performances will take place at The Wolfsonian – FIU on Wednesdays. Each evening begins with a captivating pre-concert discussion at 7PM, where audiences gain unique insights into these musical masterpieces.
